David Pisarski

Funeral Director/Owner

David Pisarski is a third-generation funeral director in the Pisarski Family. He has been a licensed Funeral Director since 1993. Graduating from Milwaukee Mortuary School in 1992. He attended St. Peter Grade School and is a 1987 Graduate of Pacelli High School. Licensed Life Insurance Agent. Wisconsin Certified Agent for Burial Agreements. Member of the Knights of Columbus #1170. He served on the Foundation Board at the YMCA, served as a commission member on the Stevens Point Area Catholic Schools and Pacelli High School Education Foundation. Member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church. He is married to Kathy (Showalter) Pisarski, 1988 Graduate of SPASH. He is the son of the late Frank Pisarski Senior. He is the proud father of Hannah, Isaac, and Andrew Pisarski.

Andrew Pisarski

Funeral Director

Andrew is a fourth-generation funeral director in the Pisarski family. He is the youngest son of the David and Kathy Pisarski Family. Andrew attended local schools graduating from Pacelli High School in 2020. He graduated from Milwaukee School of Mortuary Science in 2022.
He is a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Andrew enjoys spending time with his family, weightlifting, and playing tennis with his girlfriend, Alexa. Andrew is a certified cremation specialist and a certified celebrant. He is honored to be serving Stevens Point, Plover, and the surrounding communities.

Hannah Pisarski Straszewski

Funeral Director

Hannah is a fourth-generation funeral director in the Pisarski Family. She is the eldest child of the David and Kathy Pisarski family. Hannah graduated from Pacelli Catholic High School in 2015. Hannah was an ED-Trauma RN at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee until joining Pisarski Funeral Homes in 2025. She continues to maintain her nursing license which she originally obtained in 2019. Hannah graduated from Milwaukee School of Mortuary Science in 2024. She enjoys reading and spending time with her loved ones. Hannah married her husband, Alex, in September 2024. Hannah is a certified cremation specialist and a certified celebrant. She is honored to be serving the families of Stevens Point, Plover, and the surrounding communities.

Kevin Dembinski

Funeral Director

Kevin was born and raised in Kewaunee, WI where he graduated High School in 2002. Next, he attended Silver Lake College in Manitowoc, WI where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Theology, Spirituality, and Ministry in 2006. The journey of education continued while Kevin attended Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, IL to complete the Masters of Divinity Degree in 2009, which led him to fulfill his lifelong dream of being ordained as a United Methodist minister in 2011. Kevin has served many United Methodist congregations of Northeast/Southeast Wisconsin from the years 2005 until 2021.
Kevin began preaching at age 16 and began official ministry at age 21.

Kevin’s passion for education led him down a new path in 2020 when he entered the Mortuary Science program at Worsham College of Mortuary Science and graduated in 2021. Kevin received his Funeral Director’s License in 2022. Kevin is also a Certified Pet Funeral Director, a member of WFDA, a member of Cremation Association of North America, appointed on the Funeral Examining Board for the State of Wisconsin, and active in the Lions Club. Community outreach and service is a vital piece of Kevin’s way of life.

Other passions of Kevin’s are reading a variety of books, pets and helping comfort those who have lost a pet, guiding individuals and groups in grief counseling, building relationships, drinking lots of coffee, eating many deserts, and wearing cool and radical socks!

Jamie Allar

Jamie Allar has been serving Pisarski Funeral Home families since 2008. As a Wisconsin Certified Agent for Burial Agreements and Life Insurance Intermediary, Jamie is uniquely qualified to assist families with all aspects of advance planning. Details that can be pre-arranged include: services and merchandise selection, recording biographical information, personalization details, and funding of arrangements.

Just like having other end-of-life documents, an Advance Funeral Plan provides peace of mind. Decisions made in advance provide stability and reassurance for families during their difficult time of loss. Ensuring that sufficient funds are readily accessible to cover final expenses is a concern for many. Having a pre-arranged funeral plan can assist in avoiding unforeseen obstacles, such as family disagreements and financial hardship.

Frank Pisarski Jr.

Funeral Director/Retired

Frank is a third-generation funeral director in the Pisarski Family. He is the son of the late Frank Pisarski Senior. He graduated from Pacelli High School in 1984 and the University of Minnesota in 1988. He has been a licensed funeral director for over 30 years. Frank is married to Lisa (Filtz) Pisarski. He is the proud father of Sydney and Andrea Pisarski. They are members of St. Stephen's Catholic Church. Frank belongs to The Knights of Columbus, Ducks Unlimited and the 12 Apostles Musky Club. In his free time, Frank likes to fish, duck hunt, play basketball, travel and spend time outdoors and with his family.

Frank is now retired but still helps out when his niece and nephew ask him to! Family is the foundation of Pisarski Funeral Homes.

John Suchon

Funeral Director/Retired

Born and raised in Stevens Point, John graduated from SPASH in 1978, attended UW-SP before obtaining his degree in Mortuary Science in Milwaukee graduating in 1982. receiving his funeral directors and embalmers license in the spring of 1982. First job was in New London, WI where he met his wife of 37 years, Rhonda Slosarek. Moving back to Stevens Point in the fall of 1984 to work for Frank Pisarski Sr. at the Pisarski Funeral Home, where he has been for the past 34 years.

John retired from Pisarski Funeral Homes in 2025. He is still called upon for advice by Hannah and Andrew, who continue to honor his expertise and legacy!

Raising his family of four children and working in the community has been very rewarding for John. He has been active in many organizations in the community, coaching his sons in baseball in the Plover/Whiting area and coaching them in tackle football in the Youth Area Football organization. Served for over 15 years on the American Legion Post 6 Board of Directors.

He has also been a member of the Stevens Point Evening Lion Club since 1987, the Moose Lodge of Stevens Point and a member of St. Bronislava Catholic Church serving as President of Pastoral Council, Member of the Holy Name Society of St. Bronislava and on the Greif Committee of St. Bronislava.

Spending time with his family is most important with daughter, Sarah (Shawn) Dresel, sons Andrew, Lucas and Alexander (Jesse) Suchon, and all of his grandchildren!

Mark E. Linder

MARK LINDER Licensed Funeral Director

Originally from Nebraska, Mark joined our funeral home in 2017. Becoming a funeral director was a lifelong dream for Mark.

Mark retired from Pisarski Funeral Homes in 2025. Mark brought many new ideas and practices to Pisarski Funeral Homes that are still in effect today!

He spent 20 years in the insurance industry serving as an agency owner and manager of a branch agency. Mark attended the University of Nebraska and graduated from the Milwaukee Area Technical College Funeral Science Program with an Associate's Degree in Applied Science. He has served as a Funeral Director in Marshfield, Madison as well as the Philadelphia area.

Mark and his wife, Helen, have two children, son, Mark II, and his wife Erin, and daughter, Jennifer. They are proud grandparents of Violet, Avalo, and Goldie. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, camping, traveling, sports and spending time with his grandchildren. Mark and his wife reside in the Town of Hull.
